For the last few weeks I have noticed that there has been considerable interest in an article I wrote last summer called, How to Make Money Using Product Review Sites.  The article has been so popular that I thought I would write a follow-up article about the importance of social media.

Having a blog is not enough if you want to catch the attention of the companies that offer product reviews.  The greater the numbers of people that follow you, the better your chances of being offered a review.

That being said, you must also write articles on a regular basis and have interaction with readers on your blog.  It is the combination of  social media sites like Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook combined with a strong blog that will get you some incredible offers.

If you are looking for some amazing sites to join, the article, How to Make Money Using Product Reviews (part 2) has a fabulous list of good sites to join.

I have been using product review sites for over a year now and I have some favorites. The best sites in my opinion are the ones that pay best, are easy assignments to get and have great products to try out.  Below is a list of my very favorite sites.  If you have a decent following on social media platforms and a blog that looks busy and has been around for more than 6 months, your chances of getting some product reviews should be a piece of cake.  I would like to add that a lot depends on the type of site you have.  The blogs that get the most offers are parenting blogs.  Fashion, cooking and everyday life blogs also do well.

To get a full picture of what it takes to get started with product reviews and more details about what companies look for in a blog and in the social media platforms you are connected to, hit on this link.

Here is my list of favorite product review sites to work with.

1.  Best site for getting started with product reviews:  Influenster

They don’t pay you, but the boxes full of products to try is well worth the effort.  It’s also a good first place to try out product reviews.  Influenster will walk you through the process and explain what you should do next.

2.  Easiest way to make quick money.  Sponsored Tweets

You get an email when a company is interested in having you tweet for them.  An example tweet is given.  If you decide to tweet, you just write a quick message and submit.  That’s it.  The whole process takes about 5 minutes.

3.  This is another site similar to Influenster.    Bzz Agent

The products are a lot of fun and you will get several full-sized items in a box, but many times there is no payment.

4.   The is a straight-forward easy site.  Sverve

You sign up and will get emails when there is a product that might be right for your blog.  If you are interested, you sign up.  The company then picks which bloggers to use.  The process is simple and the pay is decent.  So far I have had a few product reviews each paying $30.00 for a blog post.  The money is placed into a PayPal account you set up.

Have you done product reviews?  What are your favorite sites and why?
