Product Review for Reese’s Spreads

Article by Wendy McCance

I was recently given the opportunity from Influenster to sample Reese’s Spreads and share my opinion about it.  Please note that I received a free sample, in exchange for my review.

I was excited to try out Reese’s Spreads because my kids are big Nutella fans. I figured they would be pretty happy sampling some chocolate and peanut butter from a jar.  Well, I was right!  Three kids, my husband and I tried the Reese’s Spreads and we all enjoyed it.

I have to admit I am not a fan of Nutella.  To me, it has a rubbery consistency and although I enjoy the flavor, that consistency turns me off.  What I liked about the Reese’s Spreads was the flavor and texture.  It really tasted like a peanut butter cup.  The texture was just like the inside of the peanut butter cup and I wasn’t turned off by it.

Of my kids, two loved it, couldn’t get enough of it and tried out all sorts of combinations from eating it with a banana to spreading it on toast.  My third child thought it tasted good, but he is like me, he isn’t a big fan of these spreads.  My husband who loves peanut butter cups thought it tasted good as well.

Overall, I would say that if you like these chocolate or hazelnut spreads, you will enjoy the Reese’s Spreads quite a bit.
